I am always looking to achieve balance and flow in my work. With an emphasis on drawing, I
received my BA from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks in 1999 and laid the foundation for solid compositions in my
glasswork. Since 2006, I have maintained a small home studio in Alaska so that I can create with
glass while staying at home with my two young daughters. I exhibit my work throughout Alaska
and most recently, in Washington State. I attended Pilchuck Glass School for the first time
in 2010. I am totally obsessed with glass. I took a stained glass class about 9 years ago and have been fascinated
with working in glass ever since. I also work in mosaic, drawing and printmaking. In the last two years, I have been experimenting with screen printing and found an awesome
(and less fragile) creative outlet. Currently, I have about 5 designs and hope to add more over the next few cold winter
months. Everything that I make is completely original
and made with the same quality that I would expect to receive.
